Lavoane på Brimi sæter er sesongbaserte sommarovernattingar, og står ute i fjellterreng utan fast fundament. Ved særleg dårleg vêr, sterk vind eller andre forhold som kan påverke tryggleiken, kan det vere nødvendig å evakuere gjester frå lavoane.
Dersom dette skulle inntreffe, vil gjestene i første omgang bli tilbydde alternativ overnatting i brisk eller rom i seterhusa, dersom dette er tilgjengeleg. Ved høg beleggsgrad, og dersom all annan overnatting er fullbooka, kan alternativet vere overnatting på sofaer i låvebygningen, samt madrassar på golv på låven.
Dette skjer berre ved behov, og alltid av omsyn til tryggleik. Ved booking av lavo er gjestene innforståtte med at slike løysingar kan bli aktuelle dersom vêrforholda tilseier det.
Important information about accommodation in lavvu tents
The lavvu tents at Brimi Seter are seasonal summer accommodations and are located outdoors in mountain terrain without permanent foundations. In the event of particularly bad weather, strong winds, or other conditions that may affect safety, it may be necessary to evacuate guests from the lavvu tents.
Should this occur, guests will first be offered alternative accommodation in bunks or rooms in the seter houses, subject to availability. During periods of high occupancy, and if all other accommodation is fully booked, the alternative may be accommodation on sofas in the barn building, as well as mattresses on the barn floor.
This will only occur when necessary and always with safety as the primary concern. By booking a lavvu tent, guests acknowledge that such arrangements may become necessary if weather conditions require it.
